New Documentary to Make World Premiere Tuesday, April 5 @ 8PM on FUSION

The worlds conjured by Walt Disney Animation Studios are stunning and immersive. Behind these worlds are gifted magicians of narrative and animation: a dedicated community of storytellers, artists, animators, and technologists that create, construct, and render stories beloved by kids and adults alike. Yet audiences seldom have the chance to see the talented individuals at work, behind the scenes. FUSION’s new original documentary “Imagining Zootopia” offers that rare privilege to meet the community of people behind Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 55th animated feature film, “Zootopia.”  

With unprecedented access for over two years, FUSION’s one-hour documentary provides a unique look at how one of Disney’s most successful animated films evolved from concept to the movie audiences see today. FUSION follows the core story team behind “Zootopia” through their creative process as they create a complex and layered film that is a comedy, a film noir caper, and a timely parable.  

“Imagining Zootopia” premieres Tuesday, April 5 @ 8PM on FUSION. Additionally a series of mini-docs will be released across FUSION’s digital, social, and OTT platforms including Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.
