FUSION today announced the launch of its WATCH FUSION app on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, marking another major expansion of FUSION’s video content onto millions of connected streaming media devices. With this launch FUSION will have a presence in a majority of the digital streaming device market. FUSION currently reaches nearly 25 million people a month across its digital, OTT, social, and television platforms.
“Our aim is to deliver a FUSION-branded experience everywhere our young, connected audience is consuming content. We’re thrilled that with the launch of WATCH FUSION on Amazon Fire TV and Fire Stick, millions of multicultural millennials will have a new way to access our content,” said FUSION CEO Isaac Lee.
In addition to a mix of long and short form video content, the WATCH FUSION channel on the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick devices will provide an authenticated live-stream of the FUSION network and additional video on demand programming to most customers who currently subscribe to FUSION’s linear TV network through a cable or satellite TV provider.
Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick customers have a range of on-demand content to watch at anytime including video highlights from programs such as “AMERICA with Jorge Ramos,” “Real Future,” “No, You Shut Up!,” “Nightline on Fusion,” “The Chris Gethard Show,” and “The Dan Le Batard Show With Stugotz.” In addition, the on-demand content includes digital video series such as “This Shouldn’t Be News,” “The Curls Room,” “Sex+Life,” “The Artisans,” “Soundbites,” and a number of mini-docs. Users will also have access to select full episodes of FUSION original series and distinct offering of documentaries and specials.
